Chip mags tight fit

I got a new mag for my 1911. the old one was a colt but it would not hold open after the last round. the new chip mags though will not drop out. should i sand them some and if so where should i sand.

Send them back. CM mags are good. You shouldnt have that kind of issue. Contact the manufacturer before you destroy them.

Ok just was not sure since the gun was a ar stoner fram bilt up. i did get black mags and stainless like the old colt mag. thanks for the reply
