    Kahr PM9 first shots

Took my new Kahr PM9 to the range yesterday to fire the first shots. I had limited time and was trying out other weapon systems so I only ran 3 magazines for a total of 18 shots.
    7 meters, unsupported ISO stance.
First group was 1.5 inches, 2nd, 1 & 3/8. Photo is last group & taking the liberty of throwing out the obvious flier on the left, (too much trigger finger), it is a 1 inch group, 3 shots same hole.
The gun is tiny (that Black circle on the target is a 10 ring, 3 1/4 inches across), but fits my medium size hands well. If you have large hands or fat fingers it would probably be too small.
I was really impressed and like it except for the long trigger pull; but I know I can adjust. The sights are dot on top of dot, again something I'm unfamiliar with.
With practice I know I will become very accurate but will need to work at speed on follow-up shots given the trigger pull.

How was the kick? If you think that it was hard try the PM45, it'll knock your fillings loose.

I know the PM40 with PDX-1's rattled my cage a little bit.
A mugger, even an armed one, can only make a successful living in a society where the state has granted him a force monopoly.

Actually for some reason, (probably grip angle) it seems to "kick" less than my Glock 19; but it has significant muzzle flip.
Again, I only ran 3 magazines through it, so I need a 200 round day to sort everything out.

Thanks. I think I'll be really happy with it once I break it in & I agree that it would rank as one of the best choices for a CCW.
