Need CC holster options

Well I'm getting the G23 so now I need a CC holster.
What do you guys use.
Typical dress is:
Jeans
T-shirt
and maybe a light over shirt
And I'm aliilte chunky around the middle, 230 6"
And I ride my 1800 VTX cruiser alot so it needs to be bike freindly.

IWB is most concealable. Leather tends to have more give and be more comfortable. I personally like the Milt Sparks IWB holsters, specifically the #1 Heritage but I've heard great things about the VMII

Kydex IWB is fine for lighter polymer guns, I've had great success with the Comptac Infidel. The CTAC is also popular.

If you're gonna carry while riding, I'd probably opt for a shoulder holster under your riding jacket. You run the risk of printing with a OWB holster. Be sure it has a thumbsnap on the holster so the gun doesn't fall out.

The G23 is a great carry pistols. Congrats.

Milt Sparks, Versa Max II is an excellent IWB holster, although a G23 wouldn't be my first choice with that rig. I'm sure the Glock guys will chime in with their holster choices, but take a look at that one and see if it'd work for you.

Milt Sparks IWB is good stuff. Real thick for a heavy guy. Don Hume is real inexpensive and good stuff too. You will have to dress around your gun, bigger pants, shorts etc...

OWB I use a Galco FX, Fletch or Milt Sparks 55BN. The Galco holsters are a good value with no wait.

IWB I use a Milt Sparks VMII or a Bulman Leather TSA2. I don't really like IWB but both of those holsters are great-- the Bulman is a work of art.

Shoulder rig is a Del Fatti SR or a Ken Null's SMZ.

I also have a fanny pack by Tumi that I insalled a holster in that actually looks pretty decent (or as decent as a fanny pack can look) and in no way says gun due to it's unique style.

Depending on my need I will carry a P7M8, P2000, P2000sk, USP .45c or Smith 342.

Some of the holsters I listed have a LONG wait time from the maker. If you don't want a wait either call Lightningsports.com and ask if they have them in stock, look for a used on on Glocktalk or get a different brand with a decent turn around like CompTac or Tucker's The Answer.

IMO, whatever you get, make sure it has retention because of the bike. Make sure you practice presentation with whatever rig you go with, from whatever position you may be in.
