    Beretta 92F compact - mags, .22 conversion?

A friend has a 92F compact that I'm thinking about buying from him, but I'd need to get some 10 round California-legal mags to use with it.

Are these readily available, and where would be the best place to find them? CDNN doesn't have 10 rounders listed, and I can't find them on the Beretta website.

Also, will regular 92 series mags work? I'm assuming they'd stick out at the base, but is the latch in the same place?

Finally, will the .22 conversion kits work on the Compact? I've seen conversions from Ciener and Beretta - are there differences between the two?

    Yes on this question.

They use the same mags- NO stick out at the bottom- only the top slide and barrel are actually smaller than the full size.

I'd pick up a shotgun news- oft times I USED to see 92 to 22 conversions with mags too............

Another note--- Taurus's version of the 92's mags could/would also work if you're willing to swap the mag disconnect. One has a large slot, one has a small slot...I dont recall whether the ber. or Tau have which is which....guns not in front of me but litterally the only difference is the mag disconnect slot.
