I bought one in December. Great gun for two hundred rounds. Now it's on it's way back to sig. Slide won't go into battery and trigger won't reset. I hope mine was just a lemon. I didn't buy a 1911 because I had to have a Sig.

I have been shooting Sig weapons for many years without a single malfunction. They are, however, mechanical devices and as such can have issues. Sig Sauer WILL stand behind their firearms and will treat you more than fair .

My guess is that you have a recoil spring problem. GOOD LUCK.

Sig has been great. They picked up my 226 on their dime, and said they would get right on fixing the problem. Unfortunately, It's more than just a recoil spring. Oh, by the way the BTFO sights are worth their weight in gold. You can pick the front sight up no matter the light conditions.
