    What about Para USA 1911's??

I noticed one on sale at Turmers and had never really gave them much thought.

    Anyone know anything about them?

    Quality?

Compared to SA, Kimber, Sig etc...??

decided after some research that they are not bad but not that good either..so I will pass..

One thing they have going for them is the double stack magazine (obviously only LEO's and out of state shooters can take advantage) and the larger grip size that comes with it. 14 rounds of .45 is just awesome.

Quality seems fine. I don't like their funky LDA trigger, and think they are wider than they need to be (I much prefer STIs over Paras). Not bad if they fit your bill.

I bought my p14-45 in 1998. Double stack fat grip fits my hand great. I have shot thousands of rounds, everthing from lead target rounds to hydrashoks, without failure. This is one of my favorites hands down. I literally have done nothing to this weapon, love it.
