Looking for range in Martinez, Pleasnt hill, Walnut creek areas. Any body know of a good one? Tried searching via my iPhone and I can't pull any up, maybe it's just my phone.

Wow, I'll have to call them and check that out! Was not aware of that...are you sure about that? It's a shotgun only club/range I thought, all outdoors.
The closest one I know of is "Guns Fishing & Other Stuff" in Vacaville.
My Opinion - Worth What You Paid For It...

No need for indoor, added to thread title by accident. I usually shoot at centermass or guns fishing and more in Vacaville. I was going to be in the concord/pleasnthill area and wanted to get a quick range trip in. Any more info for USI? Maybe the full name and city it's in so I can look it up.Comment

United Sportsmen is on Evora Rd in Concord, near Hwy 4 at Willow Pass Rd.
I like shooting there. The public (non-member) ranges are 15, 25, 50, and 100 yards. They are closed on Tuesdays for maintenance.
Before you shoot, you need to do a one-time safety orientation with one of their rangemasters. Then you are issued a small purple card that you present each time you check in. I believe the orientations are only done on weekends, when they have extra rangemasters.Comment

From USI's website:
Safety Orientation: A mandatory Range Safety Orientation required before you can shoot on the range. Orientations last about 10 min and are available anytime during normal hours, no appointment necessary. Shooters are required to show proficiency in the operation of their firearms. A range safety orientation card is given to the shooter upon completion of the orientation. Shooters must show the rangemaster their range safety orientation card on any subsequent visit.
It looks like they changed the weekend requirement a couple of weeks ago.

No prob! I read years ago where Canyon was denied a permit for an underground/indoor range. I guess they up...maybe that's what he was thinking...
I too, do not care at all for indoor ranges, unless it's cold & raining hard. USI is a great place also...My Opinion - Worth What You Paid For It...
