(In The Rock's Voice)
FINALLY, MY RIGHTS, HAVE COME BACK, TO CALIFORNIA!!!!!!!!!!(somewhat, stupid blocked 10 round mags, grumbles)
I just picked up my M&P9L from Tracy Rifle and Pistol last weekend(good lookin' out PolishMike). I'm in love with it already. I took it to the range Monday and had no trouble keeping a 5" group at 25 yards standing. At 7 yards I was clipping the rough edges on the center of my target, leaving a nice, clean, big hole in my target. 200 rounds of Remington UMC went through without any problems.
Then yesterday, my Apex Comp AEK and RAM came in, and I installed it last night. I must say I can't wait to get it to the range now. The only thing I don't like is the Trigger Return Spring, it's just too light for my taste(I like some resistance), but the break, and reset are awsome. I think I'm going to re-install the factory trigger return spring before I take it back to the range.
The next things I'm going to get for it are new sights(Dawson Precision F/O Adjustable). Since I had no problem removing the rear sight, I feel confident that I can install new sights correctly, and do it correctly. I also plan on getting a full length Tungsten Guide Rod as soon as I figure out which spring weight to get( I shoot factory ammo mostly, but plan on investing in reloading equipment). The good thing about the guide rod I want is that it is non captive, and I can order new springs when I need to as things change.
Here's a picture of it as it stands. Note the mags look like hi-caps, but they are blocked inside, and riveted at the bottom(you can see the rivets in the pic). Next time I go out, I'll provide a full range report, and include pics/videos.
Thanks for looking. Sorry for the camera phone pic.
