Wheres the Desert Eagles? Their is none left on earth. Buds, impact..nobody....

Magnum Research Inc use to import Desert Eagles from Israel, they were being made by IMI/IWI.

Over a year ago, Magnum Research Inc stated they would no longer import the Desert Eagle and begin to manufacture them in the USA.

Also last year, Kahr Arms bought out Magnum Research Inc.

It's going to take them about 1-2 years to get production up to speed to stock all their distributors.

Desert Eagles are overrated. they are nothing more than an 8 pound paper weight. Ammo is expensive, your arm gets tired after 3 rounds and there is something not right about a gold plated gun. IMHO

Yeah...I've noticed the trend. I'm waiting to find one too, but at a good price.

I got an IMI.. Baby Desert Eagle 9mm It's an excellent Pistol heavy but shoots like a dream I couldnt' find one for sale new... but found one pre-owned. Same with the full size desert eagles.. I've not seen a new one in a long time.. Used yes.. but not new. Last place was the Gun Room in Elk Grove you might look them up and give them a call.

one of the biggest "if I knew then what I know now"... and "hindsight is 20/20" of the gun world for me... I remember when it was highly touted before internet forums were the norm.

I don't have one - but wish I did... and regardless of what the nay-sayers post, it had great reviews years ago when it was prevalent.

Without a doubt if current weapon holders favorites became out of fashion 5-10 years from now, they would all be raving about how great it was/is... funny how these things happen.

In any event - if you find one, get it (or tell me about it!)

I just bought one, New never been fired, nickle plated with both the 44mag and 50ae barrels in the case and 5 mags for $1k yes thats $1,000 thats what the guy asked for it, I didn't hesitate. but being new I can't bring myself to shoot it.
