    Walther p99 disassembly

Anyone have any detailed instructions with pics on how to FULLY disassemble a Walther P99QA? Im looking to fully take down my friends P99, went to the range today with it.... trigger just sucks! I looked inside and it was all super gunked up. Im thinking of taking it all down, cleaning and polishing the trigger bar / all metal parts that work the trigger like I do on my Glock. I know its different, but polished vs not polished is going to make a difference. thanks for anyone that leads in the right way!

I have heard the the Walthers are a pain in the butt. I also heard that about Sigs too, but with a few pictures along the way and a little time anything is possible. Have you tried searching Google?

Yea.. i have nothing against Airsoft itself.. but it really is annoying that all my google searches come up with Airsoft stuff. Even when I'm trying to purchase stuff.

Since our friends at Walther or Smith and Wesson don?t provide us with a detail strip guide, I will try and do my best to walk you though it. This is also how to make the...

I sold my QA because I hated the trigger so bad. The AS is my fave all time handgun trigger, I didn't think the QA could possibly be awful. But it was for me. If you manage to get your smooth and sweet, I'm gonna kick myself for not working on it.

I think I may try this; anyone know where I can get a "jewelers wheel" as mentioned in the WaltherForums link? Is the jewelers wheel just a polishing cloth wheel on a grinder?

just get a dremel, and some felt polishing tips. for the polishing compound, use and only use simichrome:

you will never ever go back to anything else! it makes parts look like chrome! amazing stuff. I use on anything I polish. and all my guns.
