If someone already has an AP9 with a detachable 10 round magazine, can they legally PPT said firearm to another person without modification i.e. bullet button?

I tried to search this on here and of course I checked the flow chart, I'm just curious if there is any difference when the firearm is PPT'd.

They can't even HAVE it without a magazine lock of some kind - detachable mag outside the pistol grip = 'assault weapon'. Handgun flowchart, question 16(a).
