Sig 22 lr conversion kits, do they exist?

I searched the interwebs but I could not find a 22 lr conversion kit for any sig.

I'm assuming they do not exist. However if someone knows of one, I'd be happy for the info on cost and how well it works.

I've never seen a .22lr conversion kit for the P22x series, but I have seen one for a P210. The .22lr kits are very rare and expensive. The last one that I saw was in a package for a P210 and the conversion kit. I want to say that it was at least $600 over the normal cost of the pistol. Unfortunately, I don't have any information on how well they work.

There are 22x .22 kits for sale in Europe, but I doubt they ever made it here, since they're mostly custom kits from small manufacturers in Germany.

The 210 kits are rare and almost impossible to find and if you find one, spare mags will cost you $200-$300. I was fortunate to pick up an almost NIB one for $400 with two mags a couple of months ago

I wonder why Sig USA doesn't offer up a 22 lr conversion for the 22x models. The CZ kadet is pretty cool.

Maybe I'll send SigUSA an email and see what they have to say about it.

Probably because there are no factory conversion kits. They are more likely to push people towards the Mosquito instead.

In order to get a 210 conversion kit, you have to spend $2K for a P210 in the first place...

My guess part of the reason that no one makes the P22X .22LR conversion kit, is because the hammer drop safety SIG incorporated. Most other .22 LR kit (1911, Beretta, etc) has hammer drop and stay there; P22X hammer has a little spring that will pull hammer back and this may cause a lot of misfire. Of course, w/o actually having a kit to test my theory I can be talking out of my rear end....
