I posted this some time ago, but for those that care, I finally settled on the HK USP .40. Now I wait for its release.

It's a chunk of change, but I'm thinking of sending it to grayguns for Mepros and the HK Reduced Reset Carry Perfection Package.

Any advice on a holster that'll fit with the GGG rail adapter and a tlr-1/2? (I'll be checking HKPRO too.)

Picked up a XD40 as my first gun and love it. Bullseye on my first shot!

My first was the M&P 40. I love it. I shot the glocks (didn't feel good in my hand), I shot a USP 40 (great, but $800), I shot the XD (to me was harder to control recoil with fast shots).

For those looking at this thread as advice:

It always comes down to personal preference. Buying a gun, car, audio equipment, MAC or a PC, it doesn't matter. Buy what you are happy with because in the end, the only one that needs to be impressed is yourself.

I did =). I pick it up in 8 days.

By the way, for those who haven't already had an experience with the boys down at riflegear (riflegear.com) in Costa Mesa, I highly recommend them. Awesome service, fair prices.

                Sig p226.

The only reason I'm putting mine for sale is so that I can feed my need to build black rifles.

I also am looking to purchase a SA 1911 MC Operator which is anything but cheap.

I have a XD40 and have no complaints about it. It actually outshot a friends USP running some cheap wolf ammo through both guns.

There is just something about the way the sig fit's my hand that I like.

I'm bumping up to a .45 because I want more stopping power if I need it.

I would also like to get a rifle that runs off of the same ammo as one of my pistols.
