Checked out a SA 1911 today...

My jaw just hit the floor when I got to handle the loaded parkerized Springfield 1911...

Oh my, I've never handled a handgun that screamed "I'M PERFECT"

Am I being weird here? That was seriously the best feeling handgun I've ever held... haven't even shot one yet!

After checking it out, the $900 pricetag doesn't seem so steep after all...

I am so with you. I am pursuing this gun right now. I have found 2 here in DFW, and both are stainless. I am heading to the gun show this weekend to grab one if I can.

Oh yeah and no 10 day jail either....BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Here's my $800 (found new here on CalGuns) Parkerized Loaded with "NM" serial #. I just got done customizing this with Fusion fiber optics front sight, magwell, Ed Brown Extended mag release, STI trigger, and Davidson grips. Had the slide, controls, and the grips Duracoated to have a subtle 2 tone look. Trigger is set @ 2 1/2 pounds. They are awesome to fix up!!!!!

I pick mine up next Tuesday. I know what you mean "screamed perfect". I actually went in to the shop to buy a Kimber. He had just got the Loaded in and put it on display that day. I saw it, picked it up, racked the slide once, and that was all I needed to see. My first .45acp. I already got some ammo and now I count the hours till I can pull the trigger for the first time.

I've had mine home for exactly 1 week now. It was well worth the $849 I paid for it at Faith Armory in Temecula. Model PX9109LP. I've already put 250 trouble free rounds through it.

I know exactly the scream you're talking about, that's why I just bought one too.

I have smaller than average hands, and most guns (if I pick them up with my natural grip, not compensating for anything) come up to bear canted ever so slightly to the left.

My loaded comes up more naturally on target than I've ever experienced, and feels so much more like an extension of me than any of my other guns.

The Sig will stay in the nightstand 'til I have at least 500+ trouble-free rounds through the 1911, then ???

I'm already thinking of how much I'm going to need to save to get the SA Loaded in 9mm, I'm thinking maybe the Black/Stainless for that one.

You see what you people have done to me?!
