I'm sure I just missed it, but I tried reading about the laws here that would apply to this weapon and I am thoroughly confused. It's classified as a pistol, but isn't on the approved roster, so it needs to have a sled magazine and a bullet button in place so its categorized as a single shot pistol? What if I were to take the bullet button off and put standard capacity magazines in? Pistols here don't need bullet buttons; is the bullet button just in place when shipped to bypass the roster?

The question is not "How far?". The question is "Do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far as is needed?". - Il Duce/Prisoner#6570534 from Boondock Saints

I'm sure there are more experienced members here that can answer better than me but; Yes, the single shot sled turns it into a "single shot" pistol, thus exempt from the roster. The BB must remain in place at all times in CA as the magazine is inserted in a place other than the pistol grip. If the mag went into the pistol grip (as in most pistols), then only a single shot sled would be needed to DROS the gun legally. Hope that helps.Comment
