In 1976, when I was seven, my Dad bought me a Ruger single six but he kept it locked away. When I turned 21 in 1990, he gave it to me and it has sat ever since. I am planning to sell it and am wondering if I need to register it in my name before I do so? Or can I just take it to the PPT with no worries?
