This is my First 1911...

Originally I wanted to get the TRP Operator but it was an extremely hard gun to find, Springfield Armory Didn't even think I was serious when I enquired that I wanted to get one at the custom shop they never replied. Only to find out, yes they are one of a kind, rare *** guns. So I did some reading and found out that TRP is still a kick *** gun.

This was the last TRP at the shop at CA Police Equipment in San Diego. So I'm assuming that the Beaver Tail wear was from being handled by other people can't wait to shoot it.

Anyone Recommend a good Magazine Brand to get for my 1911?

Congrats, I have a few TRPs...they are outstanding guns. I use Chip McCormick magazines (8 and 10 rounds) and they've been great for me.

Just purchased a TRP recently myself but it'll be at least another week till I can start the dros (thanks CA). Done a little research and Chip McCormick and Wilson Combat 47D's and ETM's come highly recommended.

Congrats! I just sold mine. After doing tons of research on TRPs the best magazines are factory Metalform magazines!! Even the Professional uses Metalform.
