A buddy of mine just got a 92fs and is having problems with rounds not seating all the way in the chamber. He's tried different ammo but still the same problem. He sent the pistol to Beretta and they say it's fine. hope someone can help him.

92fs problems?

Are you sure its a 92 and not a 96? Only reason I ask is because I've heard of a cop that bought a 40cal Glock and not paying attention thought it was a 9mm and couldn't figure out why his gun didn't work...sigpicLord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

I have 2 92fs's and like was said above check the mags that you are using or check to make sure you have a 92 and not a 96. Mec-Gar, and factory Beretta mags work the best for me. Good luckCalguns member formerly known as Long Beach

I have a similar problem with a Sig P229. I took 3 trips to Sig and a letter to the President for them to finally find the problem. Ultimately the replaced the barrel and now it works flawlessly. Also, my Beretta 92fs had lots of jamming problems when I first got it and it took a lot of rounds before it would function without any issues.Comment
