KimPro II vs Matte Black Finish?

Im still learning the 1911 and gun finishes and lingo, Ive looked every where and all i can find is how KimPro is just a better coat for the weapon.

How much better than the matte black is it?

Can I send my gun in to get the KimProII finish if i want it?
