Need help with my new Kimber

Hi. I took my brand new Kimber TLE RL II to the range tonight and had a slight problem, the sights aren't properly aligned. I could send this back to Kimber, but the shipping cost would be high. Does anyone know of a good gunsmith in the Sacramento area who would be able to adjust the sights? (fixed sights)

Besides the slight sight misalignment, this gun is AWESOME!

You need to shoot a target at a specific distance so the gunsmith will know how far to push the sight. Shoot whatever range you can get a good group from, preferably at least 10 yards. Theres a formula based upon sight radius, distance to target and shot-offset.

Approximately how far off was it at what range? If you are new to 1911's shooting low and left is very common.

Are they visibly misaligned in the slide?

Thanks for the replies. This is not my first 1911 and I am right handed. The group at 10 yards was about 1 inch left and one inch high.

G60: when you look closely at the rear sight, you can see that it is not centered.
