Hi guys,
I was looking for a 10" barrel BFR, and the model I found got sold. I have the opportunity to purchase the 12" PC x-frame, brand new, for a reasonable cost. Less than gun broker, but not after fees and such.
It's comparing apples to oranges already even though they are so similar, but I can go over specs till the cows come home, but there are some other factors I can't predict, such as resale value. Items like:
resale
collectivity (real word?)
engineering design (actually important to me)
That fit into value.
Maybe you guys can suggest an item or two you guys think about when thinking about these two firearms. You know, beyond the specs, beyond the fit and finish, beyond the comfort, carry-ability, the je ne sais quoi that might justify a value $300 more than I was expecting to spend (for the bfr)
