Sight paint or glow in the dark dots

I've read some good reviews on glonation paint and nitesiters for non tritium sights. I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with good sight paints or even nitesiters.

Wife/Girlfirend/Insignificant Other's nail polish. Cheap, easy, but just one little "spot" on front sight, tiny . . . tiny . . ., then see what color works for you That's what worked for me (no expert)

Using the nailpolish gives you an idea if you like the color if the dot. Cheap way if you are ubdecisive

      WTB used AK MFER.

nitesiters suck. They fall off during cleaning.

Forget the paint, there is no substitute for nights.

If you want to paint the front sight for better viz - you'll lose the color when concentrating on the FS.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

There is no real substitute for true night sights. Having to charge up front sight stickers in the midst of an emergency situation is just silly, and colored front sights won't help in the middle of the night.

For my gun without night sights, I have the front painted neon orange, and the rear neon green so it's easy for me to discern the two in daylight. I don't use it as my night time HD gun. Don't skimp on your HD gun. If you aren't willing to pay for night sights, then look into a mountable weapon light, so that you can illuminate the backdrop enough for you to be able to use your blacked out sights at night.

I was thinking about adding dots to my browning buckmark, It has the fiber optic front sight in the front, but regular black sights for the rear. I'll have to try that nail polish idea.
