Sigma .40ve question

so just got a new sigma and i noticed that when the round enters the chamber it is really loose. not like it was a 9mm loose but not snug. Ms cousins got a 1911 and i noticed that when his round enters, it is very snug. same with a .44.

Just wasnt sure if this is normal for a sigma or for .40s in general
