    S&W model 37

    What's a S&W model 37 worth? Found a 2" barrel or 1.5" 38 special in kinda rough shape locks up fine no play at all just the finish is rubbed off alot guy wants $400 what do they go for?

    If it was a ANIB no dash, RB, with all tools, papers, original grips, box, etc.. I'd pay $400 for it.

    As described, $250... tops.

            Make sure you take a look at the frame under the forcing cone, they have been known to crack right there where it is the thinnest. I saw a old NIB 37 at a gun store once and the frame was cracked, guy still tried to sell it to me. He had no idea it was cracked until I pointed it out.

              For 37s I have a 3" nickel, a 2" nickel and the same blued, all in like new with no rubs or wear or nicks. Original stocks. I paid $300.00, $399.00 and $425.00 in that order. Keep in mind you can't do (very well at least) the little bluing "touch ups" on the high points of the frame same as steel.
