    Hk P7

Anyone pick up a HK P7 from Buds or Summit?
Buds lists them as 'B grade', Mark at Summit just describes them as having holster wear.

      Here's Bud's link.

It's the P7 PSP's that are now on the surplus market, which are not approved by CA.

Yup, can't get them unless you're LEO. I think a lot of people would be ordering if they were CA-Approved.

And it's going to be quite some time until they become 50 year exempt...

Didn't know they weren't CA approved.

Could it be legally owned, if a CA LEO purchased one, then sold it to you when they decided they didn't like it. Hypothetically speaking?

My local gun shop sells them as P7M8.

The P7 PSP is different from the P7/M8, principally the PSP has a heel mag release and no heat shield around the trigger guard. I'm sure someone more versed with P7's can point out even more pariculars. The PSP's aren't approved for CA.

Yes, of course. As with any non-approved handgun.

Yeah, they're not the same. They can't sell you that model. It's like any other model issue with handguns. The P7 PSP isn't on the list, the P7M8 is.
