In 2005, IMI (Israeli Military Industries) was reorganized and is now IWI (Isreal Weapon Industries).

New production (steel & polymer) IWI Jericho 941s have rails and a frame mounted manual safety or decocker.

KBI imported the original steel framed IMI Jericho 941, which they called the Jericho 941.
Mossberg imported the original steel framed IMI Jericho 941, which they called the Uzi Eagle.
Magnum Research Inc imported both the steel framed and polymer framed IMI Jericho 941s, which they called the Baby Eagle.
Charles Daley was suppose to import the new steel framed IWI Jericho 941, which they were going to call the Jericho. But, Charles Daley went under and never imported them.
Magnum Research (now a division of Kahr Arms) will be importing the new steel and polymer framed IWI Jericho 941s, which they will once again call the Baby Eagle.

I never modified mine. Mine was a factory 9mm version. If you wanted to modify yours to a .40, you'd be looking at a different slide and barrel, which probably'd be super expensive through the manufacture, wouldn't hurt to call MR of course to inquire. The receiver I'd imagine would be the same.

Wait, please give me the part number of the witness 9mm barrel you ordered. I have a .40 but I want to buy that same barrel.
