    Thompson Center Encore Barrels...

    Greetings,

So I have a TC Encore in .44 Magnum with a 10" Barrel on it.
I'd like to add a .357 Magnum barrel in 8" length with sights.

Is there a reason why no one sells such a beast?
    Any ideas?

I'm puzzled by this..and cant find anything on the web, so if anyone can shed some light on this for me, I'd much appreciate it.

    Thanks,

    -Z

You will have to have this made. Most Factory barrels start at a minimum of 10'' or you can cut one down to desired lenth.

There are also other custom barrel makers who do a damn fine job, and cost worlds less than TC. The problem is, you don't get a TC built barrel. lol.

Easy to get - I have about 10 barrels from Match Grade Machine, they'll make exactly what you want. http://www.matchgrademachine.com/

Not sure if I saw a .357 on there but they do advertise 9" and up... might be worth a call.

Shop EABCO for accurate rifle barrels and shooting accessories to fit your TC Encore, Ruger 1022, Savage, Remington, TC Contender and more.

EABCO also has some nice iron sight options for the T/Cs.

I like EABCO stuff... I put together a 223 carbine more than a year ago and have not fired it yet??? I believe their accuracy barrels are made by MGM? it used to say this on MGM's web page.

Thank you all for the options.
I guess I just dont understand why there are no .357 barrels for that gun in the shorter lengths as ready made barrels. I guess if I'm' going the hassle of ordering a custom barrel, might as well get one in .357 maximum to give me the option to shoot that cartridge as well.
