    The M.A.B Modèle C Questions?

A friend gave me a MAB Model C to clean. I have it field striped, on the barrel it clearly says 9 m/m and the barrel looks large enough to accommodate a 9mm round but the magazine looks a little small for a 9mm.

All of the info. I can find says its .380

    The slide says

    MADE IN FRANCE FOR W. A. C.
PISTOLET AUTOMATIQUE MAB BREVETE - S.G.D.G.
    MODELE C

No Nazi markings but its owned by an older german gentleman (whom I haven't met). Any info. would be helpful. I just want to make sure its safe. Is it a unique of rare pistol, approximate value?

Thanks, there is actually tons of detailed info. all over the web, Youtube etc. I was surprised. The 9 m/m thing threw me off, still doesn't make since but as long as its safe for the owner its all good.
