    Need some 1911 purchase help

I want to purchase a 1911, So far the 2 I'm pretty much settled on is

    The SA MC Operator

    or

    the Kimber Warrior

They both have similar features I'm looking for in a 1911 but I'm not sure which one I should go with. Anyone have any first any experience with either of them? Any help would be much appreciated.

I have a MC Operator shoots great, no issues with mine. Kimber has a good following, do not think you will regret either pistol.

I'd buy a used 1911 that was reliable over a new one these days. Kimbers seem to shoot very tight groups out of the box..I'd pick that if you wouldn't let me buy a Colt.

I think those are 2 good choices, honestly it's personal preference after that. Me personally, I'd pick the Warrior for the lighter trigger and super dark Kimpro finish. Not so much into OD green on handguns....but of course, thats just me. If all else fails, you can always flip a coin

Not that you hope to use it, but SA's lifetime warranty is tough to beat. This is one of those Ford vs Chevy comparisons that I don't think can be settled objectively. IMO, I don't think you can go wrong with either.

              MC Operator

If you are in or near the SD area Discount Gun Mart has a few of them in stock and they are having a big parking lot sale this Saturday where they are marking down about every gun in the store. Both guns are good, but I would take the SA over the Kimber any day of the week, but that is my personal preference.
