I was told by a calgunner that the Nills are sold out when he called yesterday. Fortunately, i was one of the lucky ones that got one last week. I heard people saying they weren't able to get anybody on the phone, but a voicemail. When I called all I got was a voicemail using the toll free number. I was however able to get a call center taking orders using the area code 603. Just a tip for anyone trying to get these grips.Last edited by tools2teach; 03-15-2011, 11:45 PM.A golf course is a terrible waste of a perfectly good rifle range. -Lt. Col. Dave GrossmanComment

I received and installed my Nill grips yesterday. Very happy with the stippling and the palm swell, and they look great, too.
However, I did have a problem: the original factory screws for would barely reach the threads for the right panel of the grip; I didn't have that problem with the left side panel. I wasn't at all confident that the screws would stay in place, so I decided to see if the Hogue allen-head screws I bought a long time ago would work any better; luckily, they were a tiny bit longer and have a better grip.
I also noticed that the decocker feels quite different. It works, but just barely.
Has anybody else had similar issues?
Is anybody aware of extra-long grip screws? (I have learned the hard way that while allen-head screws look nice, they aren't very practical in the field)
Overall, I'm still happy with the grips, but the sale price was indeed too good to be true; I hope your experience is better.Comment

In addition, the left panel was slightly longer than the right panel at the bottom. The back strap was bigger than necessary and did not mate well with the frame.
They are on their way back to Sig for a refund, along with the Nill P220 grips. The P220 grips did not fit old style hammer spring seat.
On the other hand, I am extremely happy with the aluminum grips. The fit and the workmanship were outstanding.Comment

I just ordered the Nills for my P226 elite, does it not fit the older style models? Did it come with the screws?A golf course is a terrible waste of a perfectly good rifle range. -Lt. Col. Dave GrossmanComment

The Nills fit my 2003 P226R just fine. The fit was flush and exact. All controls function perfectly as before. With the factory slotted screws, it drove in just fine. But not sure I like the wood look of it on my blued P226. I think I may sell it though. Since Sig has ended the sale and is out of Nills, hit me up if anyone is interested in buying these from me. I'll sell them for $105 shipped. $5 to cover my shipping charge.Last edited by RT13; 03-24-2011, 1:33 AM.Comment
