Whatever you shoot best. They have different trigger system. It is like comparing apple to orange.

@ Ingram : Armed guards carry exposed firearms.

@Prophet : Your choice really. Might try different brands of ammo with the 92 and see if it chokes on them. Some guns are ammo sensitive. I am also looking to get my Exposed firearms permit and will probably carry my old LE duty G22 but it will be converted to 9mm.

Well through the prosess of elmenation the glok seems to have the upperhand. The berette fits better in mand. Do you thnk it will become more relable with more range trips. This is my 1st 92 fs

You should use JHP for real life situations, and practice with JHP. So if the 92 doesn't feed JHP, there's your answer to ditch it.

I say go with the Glock, love all mine. Another issue depending no how you carry the 92f is having to take the safety off in an emergency. Too often I have heard stories about LEO's drawing to fire and not remember to take the safety off.
The solution is of course to not put the safe on and keep one in the tube with your first shot being DA.

both should be equally reliable. The 92F may have some weak springs if you can make it jam a lot more frequently than the Glock. Something is not right. I would figure it out and fix it, then test it again.

Mechanical accuracy should also be roughly equal. It sounds strange that the G19 kills the 92F in slow fire. Something is definitely not right. Get an experienced armorer/gun smith to take a look.

It does sound like there is something wrong with your 92. I've put thousands of rounds through my 92 without any issues. The only time I was able to get it to hiccup was when I shot it dry, it still fired over 100 rounds before I had any stoppages.

I'm a huge Beretta fan but for security & LEO work I'd go with the Glock. Glocks customer service in those fields are light years ahead of Beretta & that is a major reason why Glock dominates that market.

Why rely on something, that may be used to save your life, on something that is less than 100% reliable. I am an admitted Glock fan boy for 1 reason, they work. Carry the Glock and pray you won't ever have to use it.

IF you're using only that ammo, then stick with the gun that gobbles it up every time.

Failing that, if you REALLY wanna shoot the beretta, find a defensive ammo that it WILL shoot. My berettas have never been finicky, but that's just my experience.

In this case, if your using that particular ammo only, I suggest you use your glock, since it's proven itself to you.

If u can't find a reliable SD load for the 92 hen ditch it for fix the problem. I'd that wasn't the issue I would say keep the 92 as you shoot with it better.

Train until it is second nature to clear any malfunction and bring the gun back into the fight. You allways have one in the tube and only accurate fire counts.
