    Glock Barrel Swap

Has anyone swapped out a Glock 17 barrel into a Glock 22? Is there any difference compared to the 40 to 9mm conversion barrels that you know of???

The diameter of the barrel would be too small for the G22, therefore may cause some "rattling" or mechanical issues when used. Look into purchasing a conversion barrel from Lone Wolf. And added note: You can't upgrade calibers by going up, only going down. For example: .40S&W>.357SIG>9mm.

gregg has it. the factory diameter of the barrel is different and the chamber area is different sized. The loone wolf conversion( I have a few) are beefed up where they need to be to fit right and like gregg said you cant go up only down.

a buddy of mine did the lonewolf conversion barrel from a g35 to a 9mm barrel.

He shot 250 rounds through it with no problems then he went to the nra pistol shotgun law enforcement instructor course and shot 1800 rounds through it and he said not a jam.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

I converted a Glock 22 to 9mm with a conversion barrel and magazine. Works flawlessly.

              No flame intended but:
              40S&w = 357sig > p9mm

40 and 357 are interchangeable as long as you have the 3-pin hole on the 40 frame if you want to shoot 357.

I have the LWD 9mm conversion barrel for my G23. Have yet to fire it but it is rather inexpensive and is nice quality. If you are considering getting a conversion barrel then I would recommend you use 9mm mags.
