Anyone run a springco recoil reducer? If so what do you think of it.

My gf runs/ran one in her SP01. It definately takes the edge off of the already soft 9 minor rounds I load for her. If you're looking into one for the SP01, contact Springco direct and let them know what pf or ammo you'll be shooting and they'll send one that is properly "tuned" for those types of rounds.
FWIW It works MUCH better than the STI Recoil Master in Limited and SS guns as there isn't a "push" at the end of the recoil stroke. They have a satisfaction guaranteed return policy (I think it's 60 days) so it can't hurt to try. The only thing I don't like about 'em is that I've got to replace my tungsten GR with it and the lighter weight up front makes it feel really weird on a 1911/2011. Try it and see for yourself, no real financial risk involved. -
I had a two piece one. I now have 1 piece because I donated the other half to the back of Milpitas Targetmasters a few years back. I didn't notice and difference in recoil. It was in my 1911.**********************************************
