Baer 50 yard range report

Hit the outdoor range with my baer. I finally got to shoot the baer at fifty yards and from a sandbag rest. Already loved my baer but now? Fuggedaboutit!

The equipment is awesome. Five shots from the sandbags after getting sighted in at 50 yards. Before shooting I added five clicks of elevation, turns out no changes were needed from my 25 yard settings.


The shooter is notTwo handed standing. Can't believe bullseye shooters shoot groups like my first one one handed.


Mix of sighting in from the sandbags, standing after stapling a paster over the group I cut out, and the .22 holes are from a 10/22

Which model Baer do you have? And is it a 1.5" gun or the regular 3"?

Yessiree-bob-tail, fifty yards is where you see where the money went!

Looks like about an inch and a half? That's what Baer claims, isn't it?
Now you can work on the whole shoot-like-a-machine-rest thing, so 100 yard head shots will be in your repertoire.

I remember Cooper writing about his abortive attempt at bullseye shooting, and his conclusion that those who are good at it either have nerves of steel or no nerves at all.

Just a standard model w/ 3" guarantee . I should've shot some more groups but I was anxious to see how I would fare standing.

Down to only the HRA .
