Better sights for a Makarov?

I'm looking to get a pair of sights that are an improvement to my Mak sights. I can use them just fine at 7-12 yards but after that if I'm trying to hit something the size of a silver dollar, its near impossible to see and focus...especially fast.

Do I just need more practice insteaD? I seem to get decent groups, but Id like something that would be easier to use.

Call of duty has improved sights for the mak...

If you have a fixed sight model, you can have a gunsmith install aftermarket Walther PP/PPK sights. The 'smith will cut dovetails in the slide.

If you have the adjustable Baikals there isn't an easy solution. Maybe have skilled friend machine a one-off.

I use to have the adjustable sight russian mak. I had the slide dovetailed and a front sight installed. I opened up the slot in the rear sight because the new front sight was fatter. The last thing I did was to drill and paint dots on the front and rear sights. Mark
