Has anybody ordered ammo from Surplusammo.com? I placed an order this week for 1000rds of 9mm and they said today they couldn't ship to my city(San Rafael). I have ordered from Palmetto State Armory, J&G sales, SG ammo, Cabelas, midway, Cheaper than dirt, alot of places and ive never had a problem. Does anybody know if this company is CA friendly?

As a side note
Bass Pro shops still wouldn't ship ammo the anywhere in Californistan until I sent a personal email to CORPORATE including a copy of the Jan 17 Ruling.
A follow up call to 'Julie' at Corporate (nice gal) got that prohibition removed.
I see that warning has been removed from their website today.

These guys charged my card, then canceled it. We site says they wil ship to CA except SF, LA, OAK, SAC, etc(whatever that means). Luckily its not hard to find 1000rds of 9mm these days.Comment

I've received ammo from CTD, and just received a UPS notice for a package from ammotogo. Although I live in Redwood City, both packages have been sent to South San Francisco because my credit card bill goes there, and I hate getting a call regarding shipping/billing discrepancies. With the number of people that don't know SSF is in a different county, I'd be surprised if people can't get ammo in SF.Fidelis?.....SemperComment

surplusammo.com has some nice deals on 9mm. I bought 1500 rounds from them without any issues. However, any time I ask them questions they give me the worst responses. Their customer service is terrible, and because of this, I've been buying my 9mm from ammunitiontogo.com which has it cheaper anyway.OCSD Approved CCW Instructor
