    Best handgun laser?

    I got a Laserlyte that failed out of the box, been fine sine they replaced it. Crimson Trace just died, ok since they replace it. Buddy put a lasermax rod in his XD, failed. Is there a "go to" laser that wont fail when you need it? Thinking about a laser/light combo for my Glock. What says yooz?

          I have a couple Streamlight TLR-2's and love them - they haven't failed in thousands of rounds (.45 and 9mm)

              I have 2 TLR-2's
              though i can't say I would recommend it. After a few months the selector switch between light/laser/light&laser has broken and won't goto laser only mode...

              Other than that it's a nice laser and significantly cheaper than the surefire.
              More guns for followers of the FSM!

                  Anything except INSIGHT.

                  We were at the range last night and my bud had an INSIGHT laser/light mounted on his P220. It kept losing zero on recoil. Found out that the whole laser/light was loose. We fit it on 2 Glocks and an XD and it was tight. Obviously, the SIG P220 rail is slightly thinner. And the bigger problem is that there's no way to tighten the laser. INSIGHT doesn't have a tightening nut on their unit.

                  If you're worried about reliability, SureFire is probably the way to go.
