    And chrome maybe 1K.

    Blue maybe less.

Check the Firearms classifieds down below in the MarketPlace.

Do a search to find out selling prices and see old ads.

    Good luck.

If you wish to sell it pronto.....$8-900.

If you want to be able to look at your cool "For Sale" Ad for a bit.....$1k

Calling it banned is a stretch. It falls off the list on 6/11/11 but seeing as Kahr has picked up magnum research we'll most likely see it again.

        From Kahr's website.

        Kahr Arms Purchases Magnum Research
        June 9, 2010

PEARL RIVER, NY – Kahr Arms, the well known American based producer of high quality compact pistols has announced its recent purchase of Minnesota-based firearms manufacturer, Magnum Research, maker of the Desert Eagle pistol.............

As for the sale price, alot depends on model and condition. The more you know about it the more you will get for it.

Note: It's not really "Banned" it's simply not on the "roster of handguns certified for sale" in the sate of california. that means that anyone can purchase it in a PPT (Private Party Transfer) which is a face to face transfer at an FFL (Provided they're not prohibited from buying guns).

You can also sell it out of state without issue, provided you go through the requisite channels.

Thanks for all the clarifying. A gun shop referred me to this sight today. They told me I can only consign sale with them because they can't re-sell a desert eagle in CA. anymore. That was after a different shop offered 900 or trade for a cheaper AR. I'm so fricken confused.

Read up around here. Most gun shops will lead you astray with what they "think". Use the search function, browse the stickies at the top of every forum, and feel free to ask lots of questions. Most guys on here are pretty cool but you'll find some jerks also.

It's blued, has slight wearing marks, always cleaned, and it's in Sacramento. I'm still studying for a asking price.

Too bad. I was hoping it was the gold tiger striped model.

For a blue oxide mark vii, i'd say $1000 to $1100 in that conditon.

For a blue oxide mark xix, i'd say $1200-$1300 in that conditon.

Local outdoor shop sold a mark xix with both the 44mag and 50AE barrel for $1500 which I thought was a great deal.

If u post it here, it'll sell pretty quick.
