      3. Walther P99
The Walther P99 is a semi automatic pistol of German origin. It is manufactured by Carl Walther GmbH Sportwaffen… It is used by the German police, Polish police and the Finnish army. .It fires a 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge. And has short recoil operated, locked breech action. It has a muzzle velocity of 1339ft per second.

      4. QSZ -92
The QSZ -92 is recoil operated locked breech pistol and uses a rotating barrel locking system. Its country of origin is The Peoples Republic of China. It uses a 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge and is manufactured by Norinco at the Changfeng Machine Shop. It has an effective range of 50m and has a muzzle velocity of 1148 ft per second.

Also since when has a handgun ever been rated for muzzle velocity and both are 9mm? This nerd definitely got these specs off a video game and thinks guns make the stopping power and not the bullet.

✟ In the beginning was the 1911, and the 1911 was THE pistol, and it was good. And behold the Lord said, "Thou shalt not muck with my disciple John's design for it is good and it workith. For John made the 1911, and lo all of his weapons, from the designs which I, the Lord, gave him upon the mountain."✟

Please don't do them a favor by linking that junk here, because it only serves to increase their page views and thus encouraging more hack writers to put out this stuff. The next article may not be as innocuous as a "top ten list," it might be something that gives blatantly false firearms information that could get a person killed or thrown in jail for a very long time.
well put and good info! Thanks.

Correct, by my understanding, although I am not so sure about the "operated by one hand." I assume that definition does not exclude a two-handed stance.

                      federal defintions:

Handgun. (a) Any firearm which has a short stock and is designed to be held and fired by the use of a single hand; and
                      (b) Any combination of parts from which a firearm described in paragraph (a) can be assembled.

Pistol. A weapon originally designed, made, and intended to fire a projectile (bullet) from one or more barrels when held in one hand, and having (a) a chamber(s) as an integral part(s) of, or permanently aligned with, the bore(s); and (b) a short stock designed to be gripped by one hand and at an angle to and extending below the line of the bore(s).

Revolver. A projectile weapon, of the pistol type, having a breechloading chambered cylinder so arranged that the cocking of the hammer or movement of the trigger rotates it and brings the next cartridge in line with the barrel for firing.
those defintions are from when men were men and they did alll their handgun shooting with one hand, none of this weaver or isosoleses crap But yes, you can still do a two-handed stance with a handgun and it still be a handgun. But ATF is of the opinion that if you have a second handgrip on that firearm, that it isn't designed tobe fired with one hand and no longer fits the definitions listed above. At that point it becomes an AOW (any other weapon) to the ATF and you have to have the proper tax stamp to possess it, otherwise it is a felony.
                      Jack

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
