    Handgun cleaning question.

Hey. I don't have a big garage because my other family members park two cars in there normally. I also read in te handgun safety book, that cleaning guns in a room is unsafe.
Any suggestion where I can clean my sig p226, I am getting it in a few weeks.

Some ranges have an area that people can although I dont prefer that at all. A garage with a side door open for ventilation is a good idea or a backyard at table could be an option. Just remember to keep ammo out of the area, even if its locked up in a safe. The last thing you want is to have some unloaded mags and loaded ones next to you. I noticed alot of post's lately on cleaning, I just recommend enough lube on the rails to be helpful, no more than that.
