Say, you have moved, can you complete a PPT (buyer or seller) if your California Driver's License is printed with your former address, but you have your new address attached to the license? Your utility bills have the new address.

Shouldn't be a problem. -
They will ask for some paperwork that is "government issued" with your correct address on it, such as a car registration or something similar. I don't have my current address on my CDL so I bring in a copy of my C&R license and that has worked for me so far.NRA Life Member - CRPA Life Member - NRA Certified RSO - USN Veteran
I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

It depends on the FFL, I have the same issue and I have had no problems with my last 5 purchases. Only place that wouldn't do it was Sacramento Black Rifle.Comment

I recently had the same scenario and I did my change of address for the DMV online and printed out the confirmation. I brought that with me, along with my ID and utility(new address) and everything went fine.Comment

Depends on the FFL. I asked the same question in 2a politics and laws because I went to do a PPT at an out of town ffl and they would not accept my CADL w/ change of address card as govt issued ID. Apparently some ATF auditors are saying the handwritten card is a no-go and nobody's been able to get a definitive answer from the ATF. Kinda sucks because all I have is my CADL/change of address card and a utility bill.
Going to get a car registered in my name today, maybe I'll send the ATF the bill."Any unarmed people are slaves, or are subject to slavery at any given moment." - Dr. Huey P. NewtonComment
