    you probably paid more than $200 for it, have a pro do it and blue it so it looks good, otherwise the premium price you paid for the weapon and the extra barrel will be for not if the machine work on the barrel looks like crap.

    Not to mention everytime you look at it you'll just fixate on the spot and it will piss you off everytime you see.

      If you haven't already... Put a call in to HK prior to changing the barrel... Perhaps they will have the option you are looking for.. Or can put you with someone who does in their co.

        I just turned the threads off of a mark 23 barrel yesterday. Takes all of 5 mins.

            If you have a choice, I'd say just have the threads made useless, its nice having a longer barrel. And nice choice on guns, wish I had that HK.

                hk doesnt have a source, nor do they sell un-threaded barrels, ^^this link doesn't work.
