    This disease is bad!

    For the bank!

I can't pickup my Glock 17 for another 10 days and I've already purchases a holster, 5 magazines, tons of ammo (2600 rounds??), trigger connector, extended slide catch, grip plug, replacement recoil assembly (as a spare). I may be missing something, but yeah... I'll probably order my new sights too in the next couple days.

So far the only know cure I've seen is by purchasing more firearms and shooting them until your hands bleed. God help me if I move to Nevada in a month or two.

Continuing from the other thread, now that I know you're getting a Glock then get Warren Tactical Sights all the way.

Yes, the disease is bad but it looks like you bought the best medicine...ammo.

Yeah... I'm going to FrontSight next month and my Glock 20 isn't the weapon of choice, and neither is my Sig SP2022, so I picked up a Glock 17 Gen3 RTF for a steal!

I like the Warren's, I'm just not sure which one I should get.

Too bad you're in SoCal. I have to test a new Glockworx trigger bar I just purchased. We could have met up and you could've tried my G19 with Warrens.

Btw, why is the G20 a no-no for the class or the SP2022 for that matter?

Ammo is a bit much for my Glock 20. I absolutely love the 10mm, but it has it's place and time, and shooting hundreds of rounds during training is not one of them. I do have a .40 barrel I purchased, but eh.

The Sig is an awesome gun. I really like shooting it, but my hands are big and my thumbs pushes up on the slide catch causing the slide to lock back. I tried modifying my grip, which does work, but it's not as comfortable this way. Also, magazines for it are hard to come by. I tried for a month and was met with empty promises.

I'm a fan of Glocks for working guns. I really love my G20 and I loved my G19 when I had it. The G17 is nice because it's bigger, and the RTF finish I got is perfect for OC which I'll be doing with it.

I got it just as bad/maybe worse...

Every pay day, I rush home and get online to order the newest and best guns/ gun parts/reloading equipment/components that Ive been researching for the previous two weeks. I go through my entire pay check in practically that one night...The cycle keeps repeating.

My broken down ride sits on the curb, and gets the cold shoulder for repairs. I always say "ill fix it with money from my NEXT check. I just need to get this tromix stock while its on sale, and if I get the stock I might as well get the recoil pad too. And since Im getting all this new gear, Ima need some more primers and stuff so I can make the rounds to break it all in. Yea next check ill fix my truck FOR SURE..."

How does it go? "Tomorrows always a dayyyy aaaaawaaaayyyy!"

Ya I have my list as well.. Problem is my paycheck isn't big enough where I live to buy a gun every check (or even every month). This doesn't make it better as my list keeps growing.. And when my tax refund comes.. Bye bye!

Someone told me that buying the gun was the cheap part. Not really true for me, but I can see how it could get that way...

                  Now reloading, OTOH...

California guy, you have figured out the best way to spend your 10-day wait. Buy ammo, gear, etc for the Glock 17.

Mines brand new as well. G17 is a fantastic handgun, keeps running no matter what.
