    FN Five seveN

    So...I know it's a love/hate gun. I don't really want to get into that.

I think I want one, but I won't buy one unless I can shoot one first. So question is....anyone in the SoCal area who has one, and would be willing to do a "I buy the ammo/dinner, you bring the gun" kind of thing?

where in SoCal are you at? i'd be happy to let you try mine if you're in the area. i'm waiting on my Burris FastFire II and custom mount to arrive so i can tap out the rear sight and put that bad boy on. it's going to epic.

obligatory 5.7 photo - back when i lived out of state and could still have the 30-round mags =*[

Myself. I have a five-seven..it's fun to shoot, very accurate and I will never sell it. I doubt you will find one for rent here in South Orange County.

I'am not surprised you can rent one in Las Vegas..you can rent Machine Guns in Las Vegas...lol.

The five seven shoots like a 22 magnum. No recoil to speak of. Probably the first thing I had to get used too, was how light weight this weapon is. Almost like a Mattel Toy Gun.

I've always liked this weapon in theory. I've never fired one. The only thing preventing me from picking one up is that the ammo seems to be more expensive and super rare.

I said that at Ammo Bros, and their reply made sense. It's not that expensive (he said something like $24 for 50rds), and just think of it like a rifle. $10/20rds is pretty much normal for an AR. 7.62x51 is more expensive than that. *shrugs*

Alright guys, thanks for all the replies. I've got two opportunities to fire one now, so I think I'm good. Many thanks to immaculate and zeke003!
