    Glock 23 First Timer

I get to pick up my baby in a few days and would like to pick up some hp's for home defense. Any ideas where to buy and what brand?

Whatever you decide on, I use Winchester Ranger, make sure you can shoot it. Meaning go out and practice what you plan on using for home defense, don't just hope that it will work.

Can someone explain the difference between 135gr and 155gr. Does one do more damage than the other or is there a technical reason for the difference.

                Ranger T-series.
There are several different types of ranger ammo, be sure to get the t series.

Conrats! I love mine, I use Rangers. With regards to grain, try them all and see what's accurate for you.

I love glock 17 and the 23 is a fantastic choice. I opt for the bigger size glocks overall but the 23 is a big hit and probally will be for a while. Good choice. I don't have a .40 but you can't go wrong with GoldDot and Ranger.

Whatever you get get 200-500rds of it an make sure it feeds an ejects in yer gun. I like to shoot at least 150rds of whatever ammo I carry in order to MAKE SURE IT GOES BANG EVERY TIME. I had the first ftf/fte in a long time in my glock 23 when I tried out some winchester 180gn hps. Swithed to Federal HST an NO PROBLEMS.
                              G-luck an be safe!!
