        I went with the S&W 1911PD 4.25 inch barrel ( No tac rail) and have had absolutly no problems. S&W has been great with other S&W guns I've had problems with. Call them up with your problem and they will send you a pre paid shipping label and they will ship it back to you also pre paid.
