Name That 9MM

A friend of mine received this gun from his father. From what he can recall, his Dad told him "it's German". Looks Euro enough to me, but no brand name markings seemed evident. I also did not have my reading glasses handy, so the small serial numbers and such were unreadable to my 48 year old eyes.

Could this perhaps be an older CZ, maybe not a German firearm? It's dirty but the slide is tight. The mag you see here is original I'd gather and the ammo is certainly showing its age.

Definitely a Czech CZ52 (vz. 52), but I don't think it's a 9mm. There are 9mm conversions for the gun, but the bullets in that magazine look like 7.62x25.

yeah, the ammo does look rather bottle-necky.

Definitely a CZ52, and it isn't 9mm, it's 7.62x25. The magazine is way too long for 9mm, and you can see the neck down in the cartridge casings.
