How many have a slightly difficult time lining up the barrel toggle link while attempting to install the slide lock pin on their Defender or New Agent? (or any 3" barrel 1911)
The recoil spring applys pressure to the toggle making it almost impossible to line the toggle with the slide stop pin hole in the slide.
Here's a simple tool I use to take the tension off the recoil spring, allowing easier installation of the slide stop pin.
Simple cotter pin draped over the spring guide.
