    I <3 SMith & Wesson

So after losing the striker cups while installing some Apex Parts I searched for weeks trying to find the cups without buying the whole assembly. So I called in today , spoke to someone on the phone and he asked me a few questions. He then proceeds to ask me for me adress and after I gave it to him he says " Ill just send you a brand new striker assembly for free" .

Totally awesome customer service from them.

Just wanted to share my good experience.

Kinda wish I had the same experience today when I called. There's a problem with the crown of my barrel, which some think is due to over rifling. Called Smith today to ask em about it, and a man I spoke to said it's "normal".

Hopefully when I call back on Tuesday I'll have some more luck with someone else.

I wish I had the same experience from a few years ago. Might still own an M&P .40 if I did.

I had the same experience. I had some unusual wear on my M&P45. They told me it was "normal" even after I told them I compared it to 5 other M&P45s.

Yeah, I've had a few people who were kind enough to send me pictures of their barrels. Most of these M&Ps have way more rounds than I did (350 at the time), yet their barrel showed no issues.

It seriously can't be "normal" when I see bare metal on the tip of my barrel... I sent an email to S&W a few days ago, haven't heard back yet. I'm hoping that someone will reply back to me so that we can get a conversation going there, OR I'm able to get on the phone with someone willing to work with me when I call next week. I figured today being the Friday before a 3-day weekend, people are probably antsy to get out of work (like I'm sure all of us are).

It took me a few seconds to figure out what you meant by "I <3 SMith & Wesson".

I thought you were saying you are worth less than 3 S&W pistols.
