G19 vs G19 RTF2

The raised textured frame is too rough IMO. Especially if your going to ever carry it in a holster. It'll tear through your clothes. I think that's why they didn't use it on the Gen 4's.

I have a G17 RT and I love it. The texture is not a problem for me but my hands may be rougher than others. I personally think the RTF looks a lot better but that is just a matter of opinion. RTF gets my vote.

RTF texture helps with gripping the gun. It does grab clothes....so keep that in mind. On the other hand you can always add Grip Tape to the standard G19. You can't go wrong either way.

Personally is the G19 and G22 were legal in RTF2 when I bought mine I would have got the RTF versions. I love my G17 RTF2...I find the grip very comfortable and it doesnt bother my hands one bit.

I like the RTF. I have front strap checkering on my 1911 TRP and it doesn't bother me one bit, so the RTF felt fine to me. Honestly you can't go wrong with a Glock 19, and RTF or not its a great gun.

I agree. I find that the texture on the Gen 4s is very good for range and carry.

If your Glock RTF2 is too rough for you get a hogue handall grip. Problem solved. This can be used if it's too rough for CCW.
